How we developed a sustainable garment without any extra cost.

Introduction

Taking an extra step to protect the environment is not a cause for admiration - it is a dire necessity. As a company, we’ve always been mindful of our impact on the environment. But in recent years, we’ve taken it to a whole new level.

A client wanted us to develop a sustainable garment, keeping cost factors in mind.

We were able to do it without any extra charge, and here’s how:

Here’s how we did it.

  • The fabric we booked was completely based on BCI cotton.
  • Our production collaborated with chemical suppliers to develop low-impact washes. We used the Jeanologia EIM software to monitor the impact of each chemical.
  • With 20% of our energy sourced from renewables, and carbon emissions offset through tree planting initiatives, we ensured a sustainable production process from start to finish.

True sustainability should not cost extra - it should be mainstream.
